“Where’s Chicago tho? Bump that we gon stay and we gon call this home”

This line came out of a conversation I had with Sampson Livingston. He gives history walks around Indianapolis, and part of that walk he explains a running joke that people who intended to go to Chicago during the great migration decided to just stop and make Indianapolis their home.
